Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Maties started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Atletico Benevento getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Armando Pacella hit a great ball. Enzo Tocci came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Benevento's Cesare Trotta. But to his dismay, Cesare Trotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessio Catini got free with Alfonso Donato in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo Maties charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Maties the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Leopoldo Maties came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Atletico Benevento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Maties couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Vargas came free, but Enzo Tocci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Trotta in the 36th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Enzo Tocci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Tocci came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Benevento's Leopoldo Maties. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Maties quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Atletico Benevento's Elder Vargas got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Franco Donatelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Donato showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Sao Brasola defense, Leopoldo Maties kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Tocci. The Sao Brasola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Tocci should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alessio Catini was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Sao Brasola's Enzo Tocci got control of the ball when Leopoldo Maties tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enzo Tocci was a little too slow when Cesare Trotta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-4. Cesare Trotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Atletico Benevento's Elder Vargas got a free kick in the 58th minute. Atletico Benevento's Alfonso Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Catini in the 59th minute of play. If Armando Pacella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Maties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Tocci was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The Atletico Benevento fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Atletico Benevento's Leopoldo Maties looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Atletico Benevento's Ruy Nóbrega was substituted for Bernardo Bobbio. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cesare Trotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Benevento's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Trotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Tocci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davide Di Nunzio to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Maties took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Tocci. Enzo Tocci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. A collision led to Sao Brasola getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Davide Di Nunzio hit a great ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Benevento's goalkeeper Alfonso Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sao Brasola's Alessio Catini in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Benevento's goalie prevented a goal. Cesare Trotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Tocci having to interfere. Fulvio Cavallaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Tocci having to interfere. Leopoldo Maties recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Pacella in the 93rd minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Enzo Tocci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sao Brasola's Edmondo Lucentini got a free kick in the 96th minute.
