Udinese getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Emiliano Scannella hit a great ball. Junior Maldini might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Simone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Junior Maldini ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonio Simone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Maldini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Maldini came free, but Antonio Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Simone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Cagnetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Antonio Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Maldini in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Maldini in the 22nd minute of play forced A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Antonio Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Junior Maldini made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Antonio Simone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Simone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Maldini in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to A.S. Udinese getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Filippo Di Cesare hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, A.S. Udinese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Di Cesare to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Edoardo Pelati got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Junior Maldini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, A.S. Udinese's Junior Maldini made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Simone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Queirós to make the kick off. Ermanno Moscatelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, A.S. Ian Fenomeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Queirós to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes of play, A.S. Udinese's Ermanno Moscatelli made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Simone was left in no man's land by his defense there! A.S. Udinese made a substitution. Roby Donadoni replaced Maurito Tassotti. After having played for 71 minutes, Michael-Peter Koenig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael-Peter Koenig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filippo Di Cesare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Simone having to make a save. If Ermanno Moscatelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Edoardo Pelati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filippo Di Cesare kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ermanno Moscatelli struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Antonio Simone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.S. Ian Fenomeni fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Antonio Simone, was totally fooled by A.S. Udinese's Roby Donadoni, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Filippo Di Cesare hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Moscatelli came free, but Antonio Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Ermanno Moscatelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Simone. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermanno Moscatelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 99 minutes into the game, Ermanno Moscatelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Antonio Simone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
