Alex Federici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo Balboni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demetrio Maurizi succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Balboni in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Federici saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. Demetrio Maurizi made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 16thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Fausto Africano would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Bianco Mannucci's late challenge caught a CLC Winter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Mannucci helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Armin Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLC Winter's supporters rose to their feet, but Armin Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Federici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demetrio Maurizi came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fausto Africano could save by the left post. Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Balboni in the 28th minute of play. Ercole Marra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fausto Africano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Vianello during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Alex Vianello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Africano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Marra, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. CLC Winter's Fausto Africano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Marra in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, CLC Winter's Fausto Africano got control of the ball when Demetrio Maurizi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Africano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Marra in the 41st minute of play. Ferdinando Carosella kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fausto Africano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ercole Marra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Demetrio Maurizi was the one to do the kick off. Alberigo Falasca lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 54 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Alberigo Falasca. In the 55th minute, Flavio Martini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CLC Winter's zone, Demetrio Maurizi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Africano came out of the goal and Demetrio Maurizi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demetrio Maurizi in the 58th minute of play forced CLC Winter's goalkeeper Fausto Africano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Demetrio Maurizi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, CLC Winter's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Maurizi came free, but Fausto Africano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armin Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Alex Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Mazza in the 80th minute of the match. Ercole Marra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Africano having to interfere. In the 92ndth minute of the game Demetrio Maurizi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLC Winter's Fausto Africano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 played minutes CLC Winter got a freekick which was hit by Armin Mazza. CLC Winter's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
