Ercole Marra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ferruccio Corvasce hit a great ball. Arturo De Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Di Crescenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Davide Cardano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Cardano in the 46th minute of play. The Carloforte f.c. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo De Vito was the one to do the kick off. Arrigo Tarquini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Alex Federici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carloforte f.c.'s Alex Federici got control of the ball when Alfonso Goffredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC's zone, Amedeo Orioli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Allegretti came out of the goal and Amedeo Orioli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes, Dino Di Nucci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Trezzano Sul Naviglio AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Alfredo Campo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Alex Federici to make any attempt to save it. After 73 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Orioli. When Arturo De Vito came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Carloforte f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo De Vito couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Alfredo Campo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Federici. The goal made the score 1-4. When Arturo De Vito fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carloforte f.c.'s protests and gave Arturo De Vito a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arturo De Vito hit a great ball. Alfredo Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Campo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Campo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
