Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Amedeo Pompilio fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Gordiani's protests and gave Amedeo Pompilio a yellow card for diving instead. Achille Pasquino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elia Piermattei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Villa Gordiani got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Gelsomini. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gordiani's zone, Elia Piermattei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Del Vecchio came out of the goal and Elia Piermattei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Del Vecchio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elia Piermattei went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Elia Piermattei struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorci Viola. In the 18th minute, Dino Cimino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domenico Sabatino. The goal made the score 1-1. Alvaro Prato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Elia Piermattei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorci Viola's supporters rose to their feet, but Elia Piermattei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Vecchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Prato came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Del Vecchio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorci Viola's Alvaro Prato. But to his dismay, Alvaro Prato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Domenico Sabatino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dennis Stumpo. In the 43rd minute Alvaro Prato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elia Piermattei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Del Vecchio was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. If Alvaro Prato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Piermattei in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Sorci Viola's Domenico Sabatino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Cimino in the 53rd minute of play. Ciro Del Vecchio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Prato in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Piermattei in the 56th minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Alvaro Prato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ciro Del Vecchio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Elia Piermattei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Del Vecchio. That made the score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Dennis Stumpo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Achille Pasquino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Del Vecchio skillfully saved the ball. If Alvaro Prato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Villa Gordiani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Stumpo to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Elia Piermattei rounded Villa Gordiani's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Alvaro Prato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ciro Del Vecchio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Ferruccio Cordone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorci Viola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Cordone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amedeo Pompilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Prato made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 94thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ciro Del Vecchio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The Villa Gordiani fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sorci Viola were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
