Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Demetrio Borrelli kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Villa Gordiani's Alberigo Biscotti seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alberigo Biscotti the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Villa Gordiani protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alberigo Biscotti had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Di Marco in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Grasso came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Franco De Marco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cesate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Gordiani the free kick. In the 13th minute, Franco De Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Villa Gordiani's Dino Cimino in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cesate's goalie prevented a goal. Demetrio Borrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Del Vecchio having to interfere. If Anfilogino Rocca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Cimino struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Fortunato Proia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Gordiani. Attilio Iob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fortunato Proia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Proia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Cimino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Del Vecchio made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Demetrio Borrelli sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, one of Cesate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cesate. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Anfilogino Rocca got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Gordiani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adriano Di Marco was slow to take the kick. During this time Cesate's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Cesate's Demetrio Borrelli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Dino Cimino made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Demetrio Borrelli in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Del Vecchio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demetrio Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Borrelli in the 58th minute of play. Ciro Del Vecchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Di Matteo in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Demetrio Borrelli came free, but Ciro Del Vecchio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Del Vecchio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demetrio Borrelli's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes Villa Gordiani's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adriano Di Marco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cesate's corner Donato Di Renzo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciro Del Vecchio quite easily take care of the ball. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Grasso in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Demetrio Borrelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cesate's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Borrelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Del Vecchio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Del Vecchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Borrelli in the 80th minute of the match. Dino Cimino hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Gordiani's zone, Demetrio Borrelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Del Vecchio came out of the goal and Demetrio Borrelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Di Marco lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Adriano Di Marco hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 92ndth minute of the game Demetrio Borrelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villa Gordiani's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
