Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Lenzi in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Sabatino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Elia Piermattei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Sorci Viola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amedeo Carnevale to maneuver through the defense. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Angelo Bertoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Montini in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Amos Colle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Bruno Lenzi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sorci Viola's Domenico Sabatino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clarence Makélélé kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The long shot by Achille Pasquino in the 28th minute really tested Angelo Bertoni's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sorci Viola's zone, Clarence Makélélé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Sabatino came out of the goal and Clarence Makélélé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sorci Viola's Domenico Sabatino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Lenzi in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Montini came free, but Angelo Bertoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alvaro Prato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Sorci Viola's Elia Piermattei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Bertoni. Angelo Bertoni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Lenzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Bertoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Montini in the 54th minute of the match. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Santa Clausius was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Lenzi in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Sabatino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fausto Bellomo hit a great ball. A hard shot by Kenji Takahara from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Domenico Sabatino's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 67 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Fasciani. Angelo Bertoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Montini in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Clarence Makélélé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Sabatino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santa Clausius in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Sabatino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Clarence Makélélé got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Amos Colle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Bertoni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Lenzi got free with Domenico Sabatino in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Lenzi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Domenico Sabatino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bruno Lenzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Prato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Sabatino was a little too slow when Bruno Lenzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-3. Domenico Sabatino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santa Clausius, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Sorci Viola manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ to win.
