An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Rosa in the 9th minute of play forced Zurlo Team's goalkeeper Antonello Bosso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Pardini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonello Bosso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Zurlo Team's Antonello Bosso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Pardini in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute Wasyl Misiorowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvise Castellazzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenico Corsi scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonello Bosso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Attilio Mammarella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliver Hardy was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Seggiano's Alvise Castellazzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermanno Panella in the 33rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Zurlo Team's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Pardini came free, but Antonello Bosso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Pardini to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Franco Fava got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Augusto Pardini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonello Bosso was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Fausto Silvestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Silvestre hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zurlo Team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Seggiano.
