The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathieu Gaud kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Éluard Coulomb. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Edmond Coiffier charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmond Coiffier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Edmond Coiffier got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nathanaël Teissier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faudel Langlois in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Yann Guillemin made a precise shot to the right of Éluard Coulomb. FC Saubrigues's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 24 minutes into the match, Adil Caruso notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb. Éluard Coulomb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Esteves in the 28th minute of play. Éluard Coulomb was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Mathieu Gaud capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mathieu Gaud really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. FC Saubrigues's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Mathieu Gaud scored to the left of an out of position Éluard Coulomb, making the score, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Esteves in the 45th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb got control of the ball when Mathieu Gaud tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luka Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Éluard Coulomb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathieu Gaud took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éluard Coulomb. Éluard Coulomb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Éluard Coulomb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathieu Gaud went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the game, Elegance Dijon's Adil Caruso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éluard Coulomb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. Éluard Coulomb came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Elegance Dijon's Mathieu Gaud. But to his dismay, Mathieu Gaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. Éluard Coulomb came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Elegance Dijon's Yann Guillemin. But to his dismay, Yann Guillemin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0. Éluard Coulomb came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Elegance Dijon's Mathieu Gaud. But to his dismay, Mathieu Gaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 18-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Caruso in the 89th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
