After 6 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Hubert Poiraud. 10 minutes into the match, Cats and dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Avignon came free, but Franz Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ange Chatry in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gameiro Lenoble saved Lyon 69ers from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ange Chatry in the 24th minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ange Chatry in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Adam Lanfranchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gameiro Lenoble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Lanfranchi kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Gameiro Lenoble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Lanfranchi in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Lanfranchi came free, but Gameiro Lenoble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Lanfranchi in the 37th minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gameiro Lenoble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ange Chatry, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 50 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Maret. After 52 minutes of play, Lyon 69ers's Robert Garrigues made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franz Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Robin Chaubet came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cats and dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Chaubet couldn't finish the play. Ange Chatry made a great header on Cats and dogs's corner, it was just that Lyon 69ers's Gameiro Lenoble managed to reach the ball for a save. Adam Lanfranchi came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gameiro Lenoble could save by the left post. In the 67th minute Cats and dogs were awarded a corner. Ange Chatry went to the cornerflag to take it. Cats and dogs's Ange Chatry was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gameiro Lenoble in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lyon 69ers's Gameiro Lenoble proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Lyon 69ers from getting a goal against them. When Robert Garrigues fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyon 69ers's protests and gave Robert Garrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Garrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Adam Lanfranchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gameiro Lenoble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ange Chatry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gameiro Lenoble read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute Robert Garrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cats and dogs's Hocine Maret got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 81 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Sébastien Romero. Cats and dogs's Franz Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Garrigues in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yazid Danton in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franz Torres saved Cats and dogs from getting behind. With a little luck, Lyon 69ers's Gameiro Lenoble got control of the ball when Adam Lanfranchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ange Chatry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Gameiro Lenoble made a huge save. Lyon 69ers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
