Joost De Groot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégoire Coulomb, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Grégoire Coulomb sped through Le Stade Briochin UC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joost De Groot. In the 10thth minute of the game Grégoire Coulomb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Joost De Groot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Alain Terim made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Le Stade Briochin UC's Joost De Groot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Danny Pasquier made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Baptiste Demestre sent off a good shot on target. Grégoire Coulomb kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Grégoire Coulomb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Joost De Groot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Grégoire Coulomb left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Madness fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Green Madness:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Le Stade Briochin UC:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grégoire Coulomb in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joost De Groot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grégoire Coulomb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Joost De Groot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Tony Amadieu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danny Pasquier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 47th minute Grégoire Coulomb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joost De Groot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Green Madness were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grégoire Coulomb was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grégoire Coulomb during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Eduardo Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jérôme Mure kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Green Madness's Herbert Vignal got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Delarues short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Joost De Groot to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Baptiste Demestre got a free kick in the 67th minute. Baptiste Demestre hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Joost De Groot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quentin Charuel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 72 minute of play. Green Madness's attentive Herbert Vignal managed to snatch the ball when Ferdinand Brin made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. Vincent Delarue succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 77th playminute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Eduardo Machado put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Danny Pasquier. Ferdinand Brin made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Green Madness's Herbert Vignal. In the 86th minute of the game Ferdinand Brin made a throw-in which Georges Ravat played forward. After 88 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Amadieu. Quentin Charuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joost De Groot having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Quentin Charuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joost De Groot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daryl Mouysset kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Green Madness got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Delarue. When the match was over Green Madness could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Le Stade Briochin UC throughout the match.
