After 7 minutes, Ange Chatry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cats and dogs and the Mans players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Cats and dogs got a freekick which was hit by Ange Chatry. When Yvan Etcheverry fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mans's protests and gave Yvan Etcheverry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Mans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yvan Etcheverry to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didier Lefebvre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Jean-Pascal Herrmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didier Lefebvre was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Mans's goalkeeper Didier Lefebvre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Pascal Herrmann. After 16 minutes of play, Cats and dogs's Ange Chatry made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didier Lefebvre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Jean-Pascal Herrmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cats and dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Didier Lefebvre made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ange Chatry sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Mans's zone, Jean-Pascal Herrmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didier Lefebvre came out of the goal and Jean-Pascal Herrmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the game, Jean-Pascal Herrmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Didier Lefebvre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Didier Lefebvre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mans's Didier Lefebvre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mans from getting a goal against them. Didier Lefebvre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Herrmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Cats and dogs got a corner. Mans's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ange Chatry ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Killian Charbonnier to strike the kick off in the second half. Ange Chatry scored 6-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Didier Lefebvre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute Ange Chatry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Lefebvre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ange Chatry hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Jean-Pascal Herrmann made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mans's Didier Lefebvre tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Didier Lefebvre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ange Chatry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Pascal Herrmann in the 71st minute of play forced Mans's goalkeeper Didier Lefebvre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Drieu in the 76th minute of play. Norbert Lacam hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Jean-Pascal Herrmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ange Chatry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cats and dogs fully deserved thier win.
