When Killian Charbonnier fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mans's protests and gave Killian Charbonnier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Elegance Dijon booed when Mans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Killian Charbonnier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Benoît Maniez made a precise shot to the right of Didier Lefebvre. Mans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mathieu Gaud might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Didier Lefebvre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathieu Gaud ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Drieu came free, but Nathanaël Teissier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavien Frémaux kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Émilien Demol during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Elegance Dijon got a freekick which was hit by Émilien Demol. Yann Guillemin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yann Guillemin in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didier Lefebvre saved Mans from getting behind. But to his dismay, Mathieu Gaud quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
