In the 4th minute, Rodrigo Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Dante Txema had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Porter Rasø. Dunamis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Txema was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Cruz came free, but Gervasio Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dunamis's Porter Rasø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Txema in the 12th minute of play. Rodrigo Gutierrez scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Sazon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Sazon was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Rodrigo Gutierrez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Gutierrez really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Nereo Esdras kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Elmu Raya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmu Raya during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elmu Raya hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Gutierrez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon. Gervasio Sazon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gervasio Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Cruz in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Cruz was the one to do the kick off. ORIZABA F.C.'s Gervasio Sazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Cruz in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the ORIZABA F.C. defense, Rodrigo Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Sazon. The ORIZABA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Sazon should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Cruz came free, but Gervasio Sazon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Carmelo Cristofor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Carmelo Cristofor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Sazon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Victorino Primo took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Porter Rasø to make any attempt to save it. Gervasio Sazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Cristofor in the 87th minute of play. When Timoteo Pero fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Timoteo Pero a yellow card for diving instead. If Emilio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Porter Rasø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gervasio Sazon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
