After 7 minutes Dunamis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Chico who took care of the corner kick. TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Porter Rasø in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 13 minutes into the game, Matias Gorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TZILACATZIN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dunamis the free kick. Matias Gorri kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Anibal Faro came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Dunamis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Faro couldn't finish the play. A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Matias Gorri hit a great ball. TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's Matias Gorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porter Rasø narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Salvadore González received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Porter Rasø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvadore González in the 28th minute of play forced Dunamis's goalkeeper Porter Rasø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porter Rasø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvadore González in the 30th minute of play. Porter Rasø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvadore González in the 32nd minute of the match. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvadore González in the 40th minute of play forced Dunamis's goalkeeper Porter Rasø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Dunamis defense, Salvadore González kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Porter Rasø. The Dunamis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Porter Rasø should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emilio Cruz to make the kick off. When Emilio Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Dunamis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cruz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Edu das Neves hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, TZILACATZIN's Porter Rasø threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Salvadore González, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dunamis's Porter Rasø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Dunamis from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Dunamis's goalkeeper Porter Rasø had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvadore González. Porter Rasø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvadore González in the 69th minute of play. Salvadore González might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Porter Rasø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvadore González ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute of the match TZILACATZIN got a corner. Dunamis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Javier Chico ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Javier Chico hit a great ball. Dunamis's Julian Mouricio was substituted for Manuel Kinsen. In the 80th minute, Herminio Lizardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TZILACATZIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Herminio Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 97 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's Salvadore González sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Porter Rasø narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Dunamis supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching TZILACATZIN's performance. The match ended with a win for TZILACATZIN.
