Urbano Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Balendin in the 42nd minute of play. When Sixto Mero fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikingos FC's protests and gave Sixto Mero a yellow card for diving instead. Sixto Mero hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Teo Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vampiros Aztecas's Urbano Berto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Vampiros Aztecas from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Balendin to make the kick off. In the 85th match minute, Vampiros Aztecas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Evangelista to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Balendin came free, but Urbano Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vikingos FC fully deserved thier win.
