When Leonardo Estavan fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Águilas Poblanas's protests and gave Leonardo Estavan a yellow card for diving instead. Cecilio Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Teo Lon shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Águilas Poblanas's Cornelio Mino to catch but Teo Lon was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Javier in the 11th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Cornelio Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vampiros Aztecas's Roberto Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Águilas Poblanas's zone, Marco Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Mino came out of the goal and Marco Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Águilas Poblanas defense, Alonso Javier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Mino. The Águilas Poblanas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Mino should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Balendin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Mino saved Águilas Poblanas from getting behind. Águilas Poblanas's attentive Leonardo Pes managed to snatch the ball when Ladislao Gaskon made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Cecilio Maties got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cornelio Mino came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Vampiros Aztecas's Teo Lon. But to his dismay, Teo Lon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 44th minute, Anselmo Danel made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Mino. Águilas Poblanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After the first half Vampiros Aztecas were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Monico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Elpidio Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Águilas Poblanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Chabier to maneuver through the defense. Teo Lon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Roberto Balendin sped through Águilas Poblanas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornelio Mino. A hard shot 61 in the game by Roberto Balendin from a close distance when the talented Cornelio Mino managed to make a qualified save. Águilas Poblanas's players were relieved. Vampiros Aztecas's Urbano Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Chayo in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Marco Evangelista made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Mino. Águilas Poblanas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Águilas Poblanas's Ivan Perrando was substituted for Nicolas Truylos. Gustavo Chabier hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Cornelio Mino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonso Javier. When Vampiros Aztecas's Roberto Balendin in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Águilas Poblanas's goalie prevented a goal. Urbano Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Monico in the 80th minute of play. Anselmo Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Anselmo Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Balendin in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Mino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Roberto Balendin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When the match was over Vampiros Aztecas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Águilas Poblanas throughout the match.
