The audience thought a goal was coming when Almandoz Goicoechea got free with Sanchez Vagrande in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Nazario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sanchez Vagrande, 1-0. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Nazario made a kick off. After having played for 93 minutes, Ronaldo Nazario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaiser!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Nazario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
