Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Ferreira kicked off to start the match. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Ferreira in the 4th minute of play. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dani Galiana sped through C.A. GUAYACO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aguinaga Queipo. 11 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Zarando Eguizabal came free, but Aguinaga Queipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, C.A. GUAYACO's Long Yuan De threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agustin Pillado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luís Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aguinaga Queipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Eguizabal in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Luís Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. GUAYACO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Dani Galiana struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Aguinaga Queipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astillero del Guayas. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Ferreira in the 39th minute of play. Luís Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Long Yuan De didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GUAYACO. Armando Paniagua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Long Yuan De tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Zarando Eguizabal took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aguinaga Queipo. Aguinaga Queipo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Zarando Eguizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aguinaga Queipo having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Zarando Eguizabal. Aguinaga Queipo was a little too slow when Zarando Eguizabal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-3. Armando Paniagua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Long Yuan De having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Dani Galiana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dani Galiana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Aguinaga Queipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dani Galiana in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aguinaga Queipo saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Dani Galiana took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Aguinaga Queipo to make any attempt to save it. Agustin Pillado charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Pillado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldeón Bretal during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baldeón Bretal hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Long Yuan De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Paniagua, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Astillero del Guayas were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant C.A. GUAYACO side.
