Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Rubio Poo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by López Norato to maneuver through the defense. Dani Galiana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Rubio Poo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Long Yuan De was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Astillero del Guayas's Zuberoa Sanguino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zuberoa Sanguino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Astillero del Guayas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zuberoa Sanguino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Astillero del Guayas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 33 minutes into the game, No Me Inscriban Gracias's Lisandro Roches nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Long Yuan De made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 38th match minute, No Me Inscriban Gracias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Roches to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Dani Galiana made a precise shot to the right of Felipe Salantes. No Me Inscriban Gracias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. A wasted opportunity for No Me Inscriban Gracias. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan-Carlos Izarra was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Xavian Alamasa came free, but Long Yuan De reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rubio Poo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Carlos Izarra in the 67th minute of play. Long Yuan De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubio Poo in the 70th minute of play. Long Yuan De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Poo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rubio Poo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the No Me Inscriban Gracias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubio Poo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Rodney Cosca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astillero del Guayas's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodney Cosca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Salantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Long Yuan De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavian Alamasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Salantes was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Dani Galiana capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dani Galiana really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Astillero del Guayas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
