Fidel Lecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xofre Bayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Loja S.C.'s Felix Pascua slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Quer. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. José Viego could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Enrique Quer made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Rene Carrandi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Quer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 25th minute, Felix Pascua reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Quer. The goal made the score 3-0. After a rather tough play, Ayatolá Inmortals's Checa Villarragut got a free kick in the 27th minute. Loja S.C.'s Rene Carrandi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Rene Carrandi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Carrandi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 35 minutes into the match, Felix Pascua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Quer. In the 41st minute Felix Pascua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Quer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rene Carrandi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Enrique Quer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xofre Bayo was the one to do the kick off. José Viego took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Quer. Enrique Quer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Xofre Bayo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Viego in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Quer saved Ayatolá Inmortals from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Felix Pascua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Enrique Quer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Pascua in the 63rd minute of play forced Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper Enrique Quer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Mobilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Carrandi in the 65th minute of play forced Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper Enrique Quer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ayatolá Inmortals defense, Felix Pascua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Quer. The Ayatolá Inmortals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Quer should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Rene Carrandi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loja S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Carrandi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Quer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Felix Pascua came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Loja S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Pascua couldn't finish the play. Felix Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urtun Baldaliso charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urtun Baldaliso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtun Baldaliso to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Mobilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Quer having to interfere. When Felix Pascua came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Loja S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Pascua couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Berastegui made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Urtun Baldaliso. 94 minutes into the game, Vachon Secada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loja S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayatolá Inmortals the free kick. Vachon Secada kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xofre Bayo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Lecea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loja S.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
