Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ornopata's Carnero Arramendia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute Veronica Sabugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavaier Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Pascua in the 16th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Xzavaier Pedraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Carnero Arramendia. Fidel Lecea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Hiriart in the 19th minute of play. Xzavaier Pedraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Carrandi in the 22nd minute of play. Xzavaier Pedraza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Veronica Sabugo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carnero Arramendia might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Lecea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carnero Arramendia ran back to his position shaking his head. When Rene Carrandi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Loja S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Carrandi couldn't finish the play. Felix Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Pascua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Xzavaier Pedraza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Veronica Sabugo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Veronica Sabugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Lecea made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Urbez Naveros sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Veronica Sabugo to strike the kick off in the second half. Loja S.C.'s Fidel Lecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carnero Arramendia in the 53rd minute of play. Xzavaier Pedraza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtun Baldaliso in the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Roberto Requena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rene Carrandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Pascua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Requena hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Carnero Arramendia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loja S.C.'s Fidel Lecea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Jose-Antonio Hiriart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Pascua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Loja S.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
