Belmiro Traverso hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Soto to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Luco in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elodio Angellotti saved Inter de Chillán from getting behind. Inter de Chillán's Elodio Angellotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Luco in the 35th minute of play. After 36th play minutes Rogelio Luco shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Elodio Angellotti and just under the crossbar into goal. When Altermundi FC's Jose Manuel Barbosa in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belmiro Traverso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Luco got free with Elodio Angellotti in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filomeno Dohrmann's late challenge caught a Altermundi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Dohrmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Filomeno Dohrmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Andolín Pumarino. 93 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Elodio Angellotti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Luco.
