Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guntademaro Goyenechea kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Cerda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Antonioletti to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes, General Velásquez's Gustav Tidéksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodosio Cerda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in General Velásquez reached it. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Aurelio Antonioletti got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Salomón Alamo hit a great ball. Victoriano Paillemil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Teodosio Cerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Paillemil in the 21st minute of play forced Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goalkeeper Teodosio Cerda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Salomón Alamo hit a great ball. Teodosio Cerda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Paillemil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Cerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Paillemil in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Deportes Santa Cruz defense, Victoriano Paillemil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Cerda. The Club Deportes Santa Cruz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Cerda should have stopped the shot. Teofan Bozadzhiyski hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Salomón Alamo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rolf Holmgren but with some difficulty. After the first half General Velásquez were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roldán Botello hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Luis Bale replaced Clemencín Varas. Rolf Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roldán Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 潘傲南 during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victoriano Paillemil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After having played for 92 minutes, Roldán Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roldán Botello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roldán Botello scored 1-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolf Holmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
