The audience was convinced that Damián Pizarro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolf Holmgren was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 19 minutes, Juan Ignacio Deramond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SICARIOS Fútbol Club and the General Velásquez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guntademaro Goyenechea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Yerko Neuer made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Natalio Illanes Ansaldo made a kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Natalio Illanes Ansaldo sped through General Velásquez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolf Holmgren. Rolf Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Illanes Ansaldo in the 59th minute of the match. When Juan Ignacio Deramond was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played.
