Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Magallanes from getting a goal against them. When Herminio Quintero fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magallanes's protests and gave Herminio Quintero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Herminio Quintero got a free kick in the 6th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Las Casas. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos José Opazo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerónimo Brito in the 15th minute of play forced FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goalkeeper Serbülent Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Magallanes's Tomás Las Casas got control of the ball when Victorio Monte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Victorio Monte ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomás Las Casas. Tomás Las Casas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto-Carlos Braga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Monte got free with Tomás Las Casas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serbülent Baysan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Brito in the 29th minute of the match. Tomás Las Casas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro in the 30th minute of play. Alexandrino Gameiro hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Herminio Quintero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serbülent Baysan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 33 minutes of play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Jude Cruz made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Las Casas was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jude Cruz in the 44th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Tomás Las Casas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Almeyda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serbülent Baysan having to interfere.

55 minutes into the match, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Brito came free, but Serbülent Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Gerónimo Brito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serbülent Baysan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Magallanes booed when FC Anderlecht Huachipato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos José Opazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 minutes of play, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Alexandrino Gameiro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Las Casas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Jacinto Herboso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Serbülent Baysan made a huge save. Alexandrino Gameiro took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Las Casas. Tomás Las Casas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 74 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Gerónimo Brito. In the 76th minute, Vladimiro Leroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match Jude Cruz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Las Casas skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute of the match FC Anderlecht Huachipato got a corner. Magallanes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jude Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Carlos José Opazo to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomás Las Casas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 81 minutes of play Magallanes's Herminio Quintero was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Herminio Quintero kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Jude Cruz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Las Casas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomás Las Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandrino Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Almeyda. In the 88th minute, Alexandrino Gameiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Las Casas was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 91st minute Jude Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Las Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, FC Anderlecht Huachipato's Jude Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Las Casas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0.
