After 3 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Cruz. Snorlax FC's Antonio Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Snorlax FC from getting a goal against them. Teofilo Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Babul having to interfere. Barrio Norte FC's Gaspar Babul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darío Bustunzuria in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Maurín Angulo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antonio Cardoso, 1-0. Darío Bustunzuria hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When César Balladares fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snorlax FC's protests and gave César Balladares a yellow card for diving instead. César Balladares kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonso Andolcetti during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaspar Babul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snorlax FC. Snorlax FC's Antonio Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honesto Palou in the 36th minute of play. When Darío Bustunzuria came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Snorlax FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darío Bustunzuria couldn't finish the play. Antonio Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilson Paraense in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honesto Palou made a kick off. Darío Bustunzuria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Babul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurín Angulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yerko Papič's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Gaspar Babul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Bustunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honesto Palou came free, but Antonio Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Balladares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaspar Babul came out and tried to block the shot, but César Balladares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 66th minute. Antonio Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yerko Papič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Darío Bustunzuria notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barrio Norte FC's Gaspar Babul. Gaspar Babul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Antonio Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yerko Papič, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurín Angulo came free, but Antonio Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
