After a rather tough play, TurboUC's Marcos Guilisasti got a free kick in the 11th minute. Jaume Mattei might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marino Brunet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaume Mattei ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when José Maria Baquero put in a rough tackle. José Maria Baquero kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Anastasio Santana-Bauzá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee ignored Colo-Colo's protests and gave David Israel Epulef a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TurboUC booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Israel Epulef didn't get a good kick on the ball.
