Golden Dragón F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eden Hazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Vanadio F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eden Hazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Magdaleno Revenga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Argoitz Bustelo skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd minute Jakob Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Quelia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Diz in the 25th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Argoitz Bustelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argoitz Bustelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Diz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Arsenio Lanzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Dragón F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanadio F.C. the free kick. After 29 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Lanzon. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eden Hazar in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Edelmiro Diz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Denis Rodmann's late challenge caught a Golden Dragón F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Rodmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Rodmann to maneuver through the defense. Eron Sanez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argoitz Bustelo having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eden Hazar was the one to do the kick off. When Arsenio Lanzon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Arsenio Lanzon hit a great ball. Florin Quelia was a little too slow when Eden Hazar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. With his leg Florin Quelia managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Vanadio F.C.'s Flor Rial fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 67 minutes, Eden Hazar made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s Emmanuel Cimbron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florin Quelia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nalo Cambas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Edilberto Babiano. If Eden Hazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fe Montealegre. Vanadio F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
