After 6 minutes Gondor FC™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Istok Šabotić who took care of the corner kick. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tahir Srna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Venancio Abaloss short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Tahir Srna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Istok Šabotić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bard Bowman struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Konstantin Pančur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gondor FC™. In the 17th minute, Rastislav Tomič got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tahir Srna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 20th minute of play. Husein Bilalović kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Istok Šabotić notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gondor FC™'s Tahir Srna. Tahir Srna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the game, Venancio Abalos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gondor FC™ the free kick. Venancio Abalos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Konstantin Pančur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amar Amautović, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Tahir Srna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Istok Šabotić in the 42nd minute. Amar Amautović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Gondor FC™'s Tahir Srna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Goričan in the 66th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Elfar Elrond kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konstantin Pančur. That made the score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur got control of the ball when Elfar Elrond tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zlatko Goričan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tahir Srna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 75th minute of the match. Zlatko Goričan scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tahir Srna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duško Turnšek in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tahir Srna saved Gondor FC™ from getting behind. When Gray Gondolf fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondor FC™'s protests and gave Gray Gondolf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Gondor FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gray Gondolf to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gondor FC™ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gray Gondolf hit a great ball. Rastislav Tomič took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tahir Srna. Tahir Srna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Amar Amautović charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amar Amautović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gondor FC™'s Amar Amautović got a free kick in the 86th minute. Richard Koštomaj charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tahir Srna came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by HIT Gorica's Duško Turnšek. But to his dismay, Duško Turnšek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HIT Gorica fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gondor FC™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
