Zlatko Goričan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Njegovan Baletić came out and tried to block the shot, but Zlatko Goričan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Warriors of Gora™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radisav Rajković didn't get a good kick on the ball. Njegovan Baletić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Goričan in the 30th minute of play forced Warriors of Gora™'s goalkeeper Njegovan Baletić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Njegovan Baletić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Goričan in the 34th minute of the match. Njegovan Baletić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Abalos in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Momčilo Zafirović to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Warriors of Gora™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Momčilo Zafirović to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, Momčilo Zafirović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Konstantin Pančur, 1-1. A collision led to Warriors of Gora™ getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Franc Beckenbauer hit a great ball. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Warriors of Gora™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franc Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Njegovan Baletić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Istok Šabotić, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Feđa Zajić's late challenge caught a HIT Gorica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feđa Zajić helped the player get up and apologised. HIT Gorica's Wlodzimierz Wlodyga was substituted for Richard Koštomaj. After 65 played minutes Warriors of Gora™ got a freekick which was hit by Feđa Zajić. In the 77th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rastislav Tomič to maneuver through the defense. Momčilo Zafirović came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Konstantin Pančur could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors of Gora™'s zone, Zlatko Goričan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Njegovan Baletić came out of the goal and Zlatko Goričan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Jernej Petrovič was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warriors of Gora™ the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vićentije Čović got free with Konstantin Pančur in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Njegovan Baletić came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by HIT Gorica's Zlatko Goričan. But to his dismay, Zlatko Goričan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HIT Gorica had won after a very even match.
