The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Sporting Savaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by László Sámuel to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Seyfi Türk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ede Horváth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sporting Savaria booed when Bayern München FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bánk Weszely didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match, Géza Hellinger got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ede Horváth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mátyás György showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfréd Horváth in the 18th minute of the match. Ede Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfi Türk, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ede Horváth made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Géza Hellinger sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Géza Hellinger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ede Horváth. Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Géza Hellinger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ede Horváth made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Géza Hellinger sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Seyfi Türk sped through Sporting Savaria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ede Horváth. After 35 minutes of play, Bayern München FC.'s Freddy Mel made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ede Horváth was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jakab Szigethy hit a great ball. Freddy Mel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ede Horváth came out and tried to block the shot, but Freddy Mel slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 40th minute. Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfi Türk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Bayern München FC.'s Ede Horváth threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edoardo Pantani, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Edoardo Pantani took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Ede Horváth to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Balázs Kádár got a free kick in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Edoardo Pantani notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth. Ede Horváth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Mel in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Pantani in the 79th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Freddy Mel notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth. Bayern München FC. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
