Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nagyváradi AC's Doğan Gayret started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdinánd Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Gayret in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Dombiratosi Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Sós. After 4 minutes, Ferenc Puskás mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nagyváradi AC and the Dombiratosi Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dombiratosi Football Club booed when Nagyváradi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Puskás didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fülöp Nagy during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Dombiratosi Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fülöp Nagy to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinánd Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğan Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Doğan Gayret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinánd Mesterházy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Dombiratosi Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurél Barabás to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğan Gayret in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinánd Mesterházy saved Dombiratosi Football Club from getting behind. Ferdinánd Mesterházy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Szikora in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferenc Puskás in the 20th minute of play forced Dombiratosi Football Club's goalkeeper Ferdinánd Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibor Sós kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Doğan Gayret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dombiratosi Football Club's Ferdinánd Mesterházy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Nagyváradi AC were awarded a corner. László Szarka went to the cornerflag to take it. Ferdinánd Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğan Gayret in the 27th minute of the match. When Nagyváradi AC's Doğan Gayret in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dombiratosi Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğan Gayret in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinánd Mesterházy saved Dombiratosi Football Club from getting behind. If László Márton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Levente Kováts kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Máté Komáromi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ferenc Puskás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinánd Mesterházy having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Doğan Gayret kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinánd Mesterházy. That made the score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. László Mártons short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Ferdinánd Mesterházy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Ferdinánd Mesterházy managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Nagyváradi AC's Doğan Gayret fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ferenc Puskás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinánd Mesterházy came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferenc Puskás slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 79th minute. If Doğan Gayret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinánd Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Dombiratosi Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Puskás came free, but Ferdinánd Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well placed Doğan Gayret short distance shot in the 86th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Roland Szikora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinánd Mesterházy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Ferdinánd Mesterházy made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Doğan Gayret sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Nagyváradi AC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dombiratosi Football Club.
