The referee ignored Sporting Savaria's protests and gave Bulcsú Pulai a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sporting Savaria getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bulcsú Pulai hit a great ball. Félix Havas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Félix Havas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ booed when Sporting Savaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Havas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Dávid Kovács nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ede Horváth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ede Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márk Marton in the 11th minute of the match. Ede Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Kovács in the 13th minute of play. Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márk Marton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Béla Győrffy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ede Horváth was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ede Horváth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Koledich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Győrffy in the 23rd minute of play. István Benke kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Kristóf Zarka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ede Horváth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Koledich in the 27th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tamás Koledich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ede Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Győrffy, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Márk Marton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Béla Győrffy came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Márk Marton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ede Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes, István Benke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Savaria and the ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ players grew even worse after the yellow card. István Benke hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the match Patrik Nagy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ede Horváth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Béla Győrffy in the 42nd minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ede Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dávid Kovács in the 43rd minute of play. Dávid Kovács's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ede Horváth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakab Szigethy was the one to do the kick off. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Norbert Lisztes got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ede Horváth came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Márk Marton. But to his dismay, Márk Marton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ede Horváth was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Béla Győrffy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 66 minute of play. Ede Horváth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Győrffy in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Béla Győrffy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ede Horváth. Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Béla Győrffy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 79 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Béla Győrffy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dávid Kovács in the 80th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Tamás Koledich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ede Horváth. Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tamás Koledich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ's Tamás Koledich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ede Horváth. That made the score 0-8 after 85 minutes of play. Márk Marton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ede Horváth firmly grabbed it by the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Béla Győrffy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Ede Horváth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ede Horváth made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Béla Győrffy sent off a good shot on target. ᴀꜱ ɴᴀɢʏᴍᴀʀᴏꜱ played a much better game than Sporting Savaria and deserved their victory. The Sporting Savaria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
