In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Nektarios Varveris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Gonchan. Tomas Ciudad took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nektarios Varveris. Nektarios Varveris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Tomas Ciudad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nektarios Varveris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vincenzo Landa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Haimar in the 24th minute of play. Nektarios Varveris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Ciudad went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After taking down the ball on Ciudad Tao FC's corner Joakim Vennerlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nektarios Varveris quite easily take care of the ball. Fabricio Milian got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rafael Haimar. Tomas Ciudad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nektarios Varveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Ciudad, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Kjell Alsvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Joel Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciudad Tao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Ponciano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Abel Ponciano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vincenzo Landa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Anibal Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Timos Karabelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Ponciano, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Miron Zabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Nektarios Varveris made a huge save. After 90 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Anibal Sengrat made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincenzo Landa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nektarios Varveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Quaade, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Ciudad Tao FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
