With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damiano De Feo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Alejandro Papaggelatos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano De Feo. Atletico Kankero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Papaggelatos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Atletico Kankero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Armada Buscapina were winning 0-3.

Chupan Moco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Ferri in the 53rd minute of the match. If Beppe Faiella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Cirilo Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Armada Buscapina made a substitution. Denílson Ronaldinho replaced Alejandro Papaggelatos. A collision led to La Armada Buscapina getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cirilo Primeiro hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Alessandro Massa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chupan Moco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chupan Moco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Faiella, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Beppe Faiella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chupan Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, La Armada Buscapina's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Faiella came free, but Chupan Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Denílson Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damiano De Feo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Denílson Ronaldinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano De Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denílson Ronaldinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Damiano De Feo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denílson Ronaldinho in the 82nd minute. The nice shot from Denílson Ronaldinho in the 86thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Damiano De Feo had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. La Armada Buscapina were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Atletico Kankero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Cambiasso took the corner. Damiano De Feo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denílson Ronaldinho in the 91st minute. If Denílson Ronaldinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Armada Buscapina played a much better game than Atletico Kankero and deserved their victory. The Atletico Kankero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
