When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Alvaro Eusko sped through Drafi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manolis Ntouvaris. After a defensive mix-up in Drafi's zone, Alvaro Eusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Ntouvaris came out of the goal and Alvaro Eusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Jesus hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drafi's goalkeeper Manolis Ntouvaris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manolis Ntouvaris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Eusko in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Eusko got free with Manolis Ntouvaris in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Drafi's Takis Chatzigiannis was substituted for Claudio Busillo. Edgard Elssens short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 54th minute Soulis Felegakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Malinovský in the 57th minute of the match. The STARK F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
