Rafael Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Ţirpe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Federico Anaya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Federico Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Mandiyu booed when Batalionul U23 Dorobanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Velicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Anaya to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deportivo Mandiyu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Victorino Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Olando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Ţirpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wawa Doro scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delmar Quintin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Olando's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alex Ţirpe firmly grabbed it by the left post. Delmar Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Pârlog, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti defense, Federico Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Ţirpe. The Batalionul U23 Dorobanti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Ţirpe should have stopped the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Federico Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Anaya to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Victorino Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Ţirpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Quin to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Berbiz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Ionel Manolescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionel Manolescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moises Hartz in the 67th minute. Alex Ţirpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Cosoroabă. After having played for 70 minutes, Federico Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Velicu. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Delmar Quintin got control of the ball when Lucian Baran tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Federico Anaya came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Deportivo Mandiyu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Anaya couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Aurelio Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionel Manolescu shot from long distance in the 80th minute, but Delmar Quintin was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wawa Doro in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Quintin saved Deportivo Mandiyu from getting behind.
Deportivo Mandiyu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Batalionul U23 Dorobanti for a fine match.
