In the 5th minute Big Diamond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC MeHigh getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Narcis Crișan hit a great ball. Jailson Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinç Tuncay in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saruhan Akyazıcı in the 10th minute of play forced MarineerS MzC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Saruhan Akyazıcı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Leicea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, MarineerS MzC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Brask came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, MarineerS MzC's Diego Armando Santirso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Arnoldo Leicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Montana in the 25th minute of play forced MarineerS MzC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, MarineerS MzC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Rydberg to maneuver through the defense. FC MeHigh's Jailson Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save FC MeHigh from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Mecnun Seha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Fabian Brask shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC MeHigh booed when MarineerS MzC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Akçınar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC MeHigh's Fabian Brask in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. John Antolin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, FC MeHigh's Big Diamond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Leicea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Zé Pedro Montana made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Dinç Tuncay came free, but Jailson Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Eduardo Guerrero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Arnoldo Leicea made a huge save. 86 minutes into the game, Carl Rundell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jailson Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. MarineerS MzC's Serafino Modestio was substituted for Dinç Tuncay. After 93 played minutes MarineerS MzC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Rydberg. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Valentin Rydberg in MarineerS MzC was the one to initiate the kick off. Valentin Rydberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Eduardo Guerrero in the 109th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Leicea saved MarineerS MzC from getting behind. Juan Eduardo Guerrero got in the 109th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Arnoldo Leicea handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 2-2. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Modestio in the 119th minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Jailson Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Rydberg took the ball and in the 121 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jailson Abraão. Jailson Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. MarineerS MzC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC MeHigh for a fine match.
