Sergio Mustafa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Cortez in the 12th minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Mustafa Arif Korcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Arif Korcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Róbson Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trindade Atlético Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Samuca de Sena with Fulgencio Rius as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 31 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Couto came free, but Mustafa Arif Korcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Arif Korcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Vâtcu in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Korhan Kutalmış mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trindade Atlético Club and the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Trindade Atlético Club getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Korhan Kutalmış hit a great ball. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trindade Atlético Club were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Mustafa to make the kick off. Korhan Kutalmış kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Teodoro Nikola was substituted for Bennvar Björkänge. Tiaguinho Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng in the 66th minute of play. Aaron Cortez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 70th minute Salvador Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute Róbson Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Arif Korcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.U.E. In the 90th minute Cheng Zhan Sheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiaguinho Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cheng Zhan Sheng went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johann Depay got free with Mustafa Arif Korcan in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dragoş Vâtcu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trindade Atlético Club's protests and gave Dragoş Vâtcu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Dragoş Vâtcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Trindade Atlético Club's Wasyl Fetor started the play with his kick off. When the match had gone on for 103 minutes, Teodoro Nikola took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tiaguinho Correia to make any attempt to save it.
