Zdzislaw Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武挺西 in the 7th minute of play. Zamalek FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Piotr Zahemski scored to the left of an out of position Rhys Dimmock, making the score, 1-0. In the 11th minute Reese Otto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 武挺西 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davis Duff to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes, 武挺西 made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Otto in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Onyx's goal looked a bit too open when Reese Otto came free, but Zdzislaw Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reese Otto in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Domarecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes Onyx's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chunche Montero who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Onyx getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cyprian Tyszka hit a great ball. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Otto in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 武挺西 in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Domarecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reese Otto took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zdzislaw Domarecki. Zdzislaw Domarecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piotr Zahemski was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Zahemski in the 51st minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Joseph in the 55th minute of the match. After 57 minutes Onyx's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chunche Montero who took care of the corner kick. In the 61st minute of the match, Reese Otto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zdzislaw Domarecki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the last second Zdzislaw Domarecki throw himself and got hold of the ball when Reese Otto in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Onyx's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chunche Montero was slow to take the kick. During this time Zamalek FC's players had a chance to rest. 武挺西 came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zdzislaw Domarecki could save by the left post. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Diogo Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reese Otto in the 70th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Onyx got a freekick which was hit by Maksymilian Topolski. When Reese Otto came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reese Otto couldn't finish the play. 武挺西's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Zdzislaw Domarecki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zamalek FC's Mugurel Balaeț was substituted for Reese Otto. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Onyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Petka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Chunche Montero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 81 in the game by Mugurel Balaeț from a close distance when the talented Zdzislaw Domarecki managed to make a qualified save. Onyx's players were relieved. Piotr Zahemski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhys Dimmock having to interfere. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Piotr Zahemski sped through Zamalek FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rhys Dimmock. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diogo Queirós got free with Zdzislaw Domarecki in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Zamalek FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Onyx.
