Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abe Habenicht in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurand Jaraczeski got free with Antoni Walaszkiewicz in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 8 played minutes Śląsk Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Wiatrak. In the 10th minute of the match Onyx got a corner. Śląsk Katowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emrys Hannah ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 17th minute Onyx were awarded a corner. Emrys Hannah went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 19th minute, Teofil Rzegotka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Śląsk Katowice's Abe Habenicht got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emrys Hannah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Walaszkiewicz having to interfere. Abe Habenicht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piotr Zahemski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Antoni Walaszkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Teofil Rzegotka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Domarecki was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Jurand Jaraczeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Antoni Walaszkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrys Hannah in the 75th minute of play. Antoni Walaszkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 76th minute of the match. If Jurand Jaraczeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Śląsk Katowice's Adelino Salgado was substituted for Abe Habenicht. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Bronicki in the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute Marek Bronicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Jan Awizo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki did a great save. Onyx were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Śląsk Katowice to leave the ground with a draw.
