An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Rzegotka in the 2nd minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Codrin Tâbârnă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Walaszkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Nicodim, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Abe Habenicht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Abe Habenicht made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Tâbârnă. BlueLionesse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Sebastian Mailat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Śląsk Katowice's Antoni Walaszkiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in BlueLionesse fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Leontin Pătrășconiu hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, one of BlueLionesse:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BlueLionesse. Codrin Tâbârnă had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Marco Amaral's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Śląsk Katowice's Teofil Rzegotka made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codrin Tâbârnă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antoni Walaszkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Mailat's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. BlueLionesse's Codrin Tâbârnă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abe Habenicht in the 40th minute of play. Codrin Tâbârnă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abe Habenicht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 44 in the game by Sebastian Mailat from a close distance when the talented Antoni Walaszkiewicz managed to make a qualified save. Śląsk Katowice's players were relieved. Sebastian Mailat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teofil Rzegotka made the kick off in the second half. Leontin Pătrășconiu got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pompiliu Minea. In the 55th minute, Abe Habenicht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codrin Tâbârnă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Codrin Tâbârnă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abe Habenicht in the 58th minute. Antoni Walaszkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Nicodim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Abe Habenicht managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Śląsk Katowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abe Habenicht was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Śląsk Katowice's Adelino Salgado was substituted for Abe Habenicht. Leontin Pătrășconiu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes Śląsk Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Marek Bronicki. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcu Hagi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Walaszkiewicz saved Śląsk Katowice from getting behind. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Marcu Hagi sped through Śląsk Katowice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antoni Walaszkiewicz. After having played for 81 minutes, Sebastian Mailat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlueLionesse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Mailat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Marco Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see BlueLionesse's Narcis Inculeț in action when he in the 87th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Leontin Pătrășconiu's late challenge caught a Śląsk Katowice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Pătrășconiu helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Pătrășconiu. The Śląsk Katowice players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
