After some careless play in the SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. defense, Jacinto Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Sauter. Niklas Sauter came out of the goal and José Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 played minutes SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Urki. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Urki in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sarracino Marsano hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Urki came free, but Chicão de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Urki's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Guerreiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Niklas Sauter made a huge save. Niklas Sauter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Max Rosenfelder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A Gryffindor's Matthijs De Ligt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Max Rosenfelder, made in the 83rd minute of the game.
