Isidoro Edorta made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Aratz Llinares sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Cornelio Oroitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitin Parra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, El Altet FC's Manolo Aznar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Edorta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, El Altet FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Lucado came free, but Vitin Parra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Cornelio Oroitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Machado in the 27th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Isidoro Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nereo Cresenciano fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Nereo Cresenciano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Nereo Cresenciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Aratz Llinares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Edorta. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Edorta should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Armando Lucian hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Manolo Aznar notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Real Madrid's Isidoro Edorta. Isidoro Edorta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 minutes, Aratz Llinares made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real Madrid's Isidoro Edorta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aratz Llinares made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Angel Evangelista got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Lucado to maneuver through the defense. Real Madrid's Isidoro Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Aznar in the 66th minute of play. Isidoro Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Aznar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Cornelio Oroitz could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Vitin Parra however easily saved by the left post. Anier Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Armando Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitin Parra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Machado in the 78th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Isidoro Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
