Viktor Petrus ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Monte Hermoso Beach's Aage Hill to fire away a dangerous shot which Simon Hori despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Sarmiento came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aage Hill in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Hori saved Showtime FC from getting behind. In the 24th minute Aage Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Dalmu in the 45th minute of the match. Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel was substituted for Aage Hill. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Showtime FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's Viktor Petrus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Hori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Hector Montrel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Showtime FC's Simon Hori tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Showtime FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
