When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zbyszko Kajder sped through Legia Warszawa 【L】's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lech Latkiewicz. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Lech Trac suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Zbyszko Kajder kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

50 minutes into the match, Tạ Mara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tanek Wojtyna.
