An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuzalp Mesut in the 4th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Eriberto Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Abbiati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Rødal, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Sielce Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stig Rødal took the corner. The corner ended in Stig Rødal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sielce Warszawa's Christian Abbiati did a great save. If Yavuzalp Mesut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Stig Rødal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Christian Abbiati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sielce Warszawa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nicias Protopsaltis hit a great ball. Eriberto Enol came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sielce Warszawa's Yavuzalp Mesut. But to his dismay, Yavuzalp Mesut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eriberto Enol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yavuzalp Mesut went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Alan Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sielce Warszawa's Christian Abbiati got control of the ball when Marco Paixão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Miroslaw Spychalski got a free kick in the 40th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Yavuzalp Mesut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sielce Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuzalp Mesut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yavuzalp Mesut was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Sielce Warszawa booed when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Paixão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yavuzalp Mesut struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Eriberto Enol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sielce Warszawa. 65 minutes into the match, Yavuzalp Mesut notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Eriberto Enol. Eriberto Enol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eriberto Enol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Haskiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sielce Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Zima in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute of the game Miroslaw Spychalski made a throw-in which Elías Olsson played forward. In the 87thth minute of the game Janusz Haskiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Eriberto Enol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eriberto Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Haskiewicz in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Janusz Haskiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sielce Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Janusz Haskiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Enol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Paixão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miroslaw Spychalski made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elías Olsson immediately put the ball in play. In the 95th match minute, Sielce Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Domarecki to maneuver through the defense.
