In the 10th minute, Eugenio Umea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beto Santirso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sverker Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Radomir Zurawski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Borowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski got control of the ball when Sverker Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Radarowcy Szczecin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wieslaw Cichowski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Wrocanka's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Sverker Danielsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Radomir Zurawski to make any attempt to save it. Beto Santirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Umea in the 33rd minute of play. Radomir Zurawski was a little too slow when Sverker Danielsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Borowski in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes FC Wrocanka got a freekick which was hit by Sten Mellin. Radomir Zurawski made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Sverker Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sverker Danielsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliusz Dlugi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Emil Borowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wrocanka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Borowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Boguslaw Piesciuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Santirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sverker Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Niziolek in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Beto Santirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match, Eugenio Umea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beto Santirso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sverker Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wrocanka's supporters rose to their feet, but Sverker Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Zurawski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 87th minute of play forced Radarowcy Szczecin's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Åkerman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Zurawski having to make a save. In the 90th match minute, FC Wrocanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Åkerman to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC Wrocanka booed when Radarowcy Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Niziolek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Radarowcy Szczecin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Radarowcy Szczecin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
