Niva Bruna was slow to take the kick. During this time Sociedad Anónima's players had a chance to rest. Felix Larren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmantas Matulas having to interfere. Antonio Sorriva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sociedad Anónima getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Incendio Aranda hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velasco Rollan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilmantas Matulas saved FC Žalia Giria from getting behind. Antonio Sorriva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Gentiletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Sorriva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saúl Gentiletti in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's Velasco Rollan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilmantas Matulas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vilmantas Matulas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velasco Rollan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, FC Žalia Giria's goalkeeper Vilmantas Matulas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Velasco Rollan. Antonio Sorriva came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Žalia Giria's Jack Grealish. But to his dismay, Jack Grealish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The wind increased when Saúl Gentiletti made the kick off in the second half. FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velasco Rollan in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of FC Žalia Giria booed when Sociedad Anónima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Cubillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Grealish came free, but Antonio Sorriva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Velasco Rollan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Žalia Giria's Vilmantas Matulas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sociedad Anónima's Velasco Rollan in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Velasco Rollan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sociedad Anónima's supporters rose to their feet, but Velasco Rollan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Žalia Giria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sociedad Anónima.
